Scientific research has been done on this. This post is about that.

   "Your" musical taste "says a lot about you.

 If you give a psychologist 10 favorite pieces of music, he will be able to reveal a lot of information about you, no matter how unknown you are to him. It includes your background and even your age.

It has been found that those who prefer type 1 music have a higher level of openness, are generally weaker in sports, are better at words, and are more politically liberal.

Category 2 music fans have found that they are very similar to the features of the first type, but they are also good at sports.

Type 3 music fans have a lot in common with Type 2 but are often politically conservative.

People who tend to type 4 music get high scores on externality and consensus and are often politically liberal.
